What installing the app provides
Installing the PayTask app allows you to use the piece-rate payroll accounting service as a full-fledged mobile application. After installation, you will get:
- Quick access to the service directly from the desktop
- Operation in a separate window without the browser address bar
- A convenient interface optimized for mobile devices
The app is installed as a PWA (Progressive Web App) — this is a modern technology that allows websites to work like native applications.
Installing on a smartphone
To install the PayTask app on a smartphone, follow these steps:
Android (Chrome, Samsung Internet)
- Open the website paytask.ru in the Chrome or Samsung Internet browser
- Wait for the 📲 Install app button to appear at the top of the page
- Click the install button
- In the window that appears, confirm the installation by clicking Install
- The app will appear on the desktop and in the app list
If the install button did not appear automatically, you can install the app through the browser menu:
- Open the browser menu (three dots in the upper right corner)
- Select Add to Home screen or Install app
- Confirm the installation
iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open the website paytask.ru in the Safari browser
- Click the Share button (square with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen
- Scroll down the menu and select Add to Home Screen
- If necessary, change the app name and click Add
- The app icon will appear on the desktop
Installing on a computer
The PayTask app can also be installed on a computer for convenient access to the task accounting and payroll calculation service.
Windows (Chrome, Edge)
- Open the website paytask.ru in the Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser
- Click the 📲 Install app button if it is displayed
- Or open the browser menu (three dots) and select Install PayTask
- In the dialog box, click Install
- The app will open in a separate window and appear in the Start menu
macOS (Chrome, Safari)
- Open the website paytask.ru in the Chrome browser
- Click the install button or select Install PayTask in the menu
- Confirm the installation
- The app will appear in the "Applications" folder and in Launchpad
In Safari on macOS, PWA app installation is available starting from version 17.0. Use the menu File → Add to Home Screen.
Installation requirements
To install the PayTask app, you need:
- A modern browser with PWA support (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox)
- A stable internet connection for the initial installation
- Enough free space on the device (the app takes up minimal space)
The app works on all modern devices: smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.
Using the installed app
After installation, the PayTask app works like a regular mobile application:
- Launches with a single click on the icon
- Opens in a separate window without browser elements
- Retains all the features of the web version: task accounting, piece-rate payroll calculation, chat, reports
- Automatically updates when the website is updated
Use the same credentials to log in to the app as for the web version. All your data is synchronized between the web version and the installed app.
Deleting the app
If you need to delete the installed app:
- On Android: press and hold the app icon and drag it to the trash, or delete it through device settings
- On iPhone: press and hold the icon, tap the "x" and confirm deletion
- On Windows: right-click the app in the browser and select "Remove"
- On macOS: drag the icon from the "Applications" folder to the trash
Deleting the app does not affect your account and data — they remain accessible through the web version of the site.
